Sejak 2013 generasi ke-4 dari survei eksplorasi menggunakan metode Geolistrik dengan instrumen "SiBER 48" yang memiliki spesifikasi sbb :

Setelah menghubungkan dua komponen 24-elektroda kabel dengan spasi 5 meter antara elektroda, ini memungkinkan untuk mendapatkan penampang geolistrik sepanjang lintasan lebih dari 235 meter dengan lama pengukuran kurang dari 10 menit.

Software for PC – SibER Tools, butuh membuat dan edit file dengan deskripsi dari sequences-nya, seperti data primer saat prosesing - filtering, packaging dan export ke format yang umum (IPI2Win, Res2DInv dan Res3DInv). Program ini dapat membuat sequences baik elektro-tomografi dan tradisional sounding menggunakan 4 elektroda dengan linier atau perpindahan spasi secara geometric.
